 Sedona West Fork Canyon

We hiked the West Fork Canyon also known as The Call of the Canyon.  It was a beautiful hike with variations around every bend in the trail.  At times we felt we had this special place all to ourselves.

The red rock mountains surrounding Sedona are beautiful and difficult to describe in words. I felt like was viewing a 360° work of art.  The photos  are only a small representation of the miracle of nature that surrounds Sedona.

We ventured off the interstate at Kingman and drove along U.S. Route 66 to Seligman. This is also part of the old road to the Grand Canyon I think we drove when I was a child.  It was dry and hot at 107°.  Here are a few photos along the way.

Summer Roadtrip to Southwest

Our travels began in Las Vegas following a business convention.  My meetings finished, we walked the Strip after dinner.  The temperature was over 100° at night.

November! Warm fall by the ocean at Crystal Cove State Beach and early winter snow in Mammoth Lakes. Enjoyed Mammorth with our dauthers Lara and Leah and their guys Nathaniel and Jake. Life is good when we are all together.
